Bringing Purpose to Every Experience: Q&A with Krissi Thomas, One10’s new Senior Director, Strategic Accounts

With more than two decades of experience in hospitality and corporate events, Krissi Thomas has built a career defined by strategic thinking, relationship-building, and delivering exceptional experiences. Now, in her new role as Senior Director, Strategic Accounts at One10, Krissi is bringing her energy and expertise to a company she’s long admired.

We sat down with Krissi to learn more:

You bring more than 20 years of experience in hospitality and corporate events. What drew you to join the One10 team at this point in your career?

After years in social and corporate events, I was ready for a new challenge. I wanted one that allowed me to think bigger and collaborate with a team as passionate about experiences as I am. I joined One10 because of their strong reputation for creating one-of-a kind, strategic experiences that truly resonate with their clients and attendees. Having worked with them on the DMC side, I had a front row seat to all of One10’s capabilities, and I knew it would be a great fit for my experience.

As Senior Director, Strategic Accounts, what are you most excited to focus on in your new role?

In my new role, I am excited to leverage my years of industry experience and partner with the incredible team at One10 to bring their innovative capabilities to my growing network. Being a trusted advisor has always been my top priority and through One10’s resources and expertise, I am now able to support my clients on an even deeper level.

Throughout your career, you’ve built a reputation for driving growth and creating innovative event strategies. Can you share a favorite success story or proud moment?

Whether leading large teams or being an individual contributor, my proudest moments have always come from client feedback. There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing your name mentioned for making someone’s experience smoother or more successful. And when a client praises the team, it’s a reflection of the culture and leadership behind it. Those are the moments that truly define success for me.

You’re active in the industry, including your role as Director of Industry Relations on the SITE Southern California Board. How has that involvement shaped your professional outlook?

SITE Southern California has been instrumental in my growth over the past three years. It’s connected me with incredible industry partners and shown me the true impact of our event community. Beyond creating amazing events, we’ve made a real difference through our charitable work.  Doing what I love, alongside the best in the business, while giving back. That’s a big win!

Looking ahead, what trends or opportunities do you see shaping the future of incentive travel and events, and how is One10 positioned to lead in that space?

The future of incentive travel is all about personalization and purpose. Attendees want experiences that feel curated but also meaningful, with a strong focus on sustainability, wellness and DEI. One10 possesses the unique ability to achieve all these objectives through a multi-faceted approach, utilizing not only strategy but creativity and analytics. We assist our clients in leveraging incentive travel as a tool to drive results, while also embodying the same principles internally, setting us apart from the competition.

Robin Williams is the Marketing Director at One10. She brings unique marketing experience to One10. Through her leadership, Williams has grown revenue, obtained new clients and reduced costs in varied industries through development, execution and leadership of integrated, data driven marketing strategies. She is an active member of the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA).
